A 4-room HDB typically runs about S$350–600 depending on the provider, a 2-room flat from about S$280, and large landed homes up to about S$1,100. Testing-only visits range from about S$50 to S$250, and commercial spaces are often priced at S$3–5 per sqft.

Across the Singapore market you'll see whole-home quotes from about S$250 at the budget end to S$1,100+ for large homes from established specialists. Quotes near the bottom of the range usually mean a fogging-only treatment without meter readings — more on that below.
What actually drives the price
- Floor area — the main factor, which is why honest pricing is tiered by flat type or sqft rather than "from S$X" teasers.
- Carpentry density — a home lined with full-height wardrobes and feature walls has far more emitting surface than the same floor area with loose furniture, so some companies add a S$100–300 surcharge at the extreme. Be wary of any that only mention it on the day; our tiers carry no carpentry surcharge.
- What's included — before/after readings and a written report are the difference between a verified result and a nice smell. Cheap quotes typically exclude both.
Cheaper alternatives, honestly assessed
- Ventilation (free): genuinely helps, but with the source sealed inside carpentry, reaching safe levels passively can take months to years — and levels rebound whenever the home is closed up with aircon running.
- Activated-carbon purifiers (S$300–1,500): capture some airborne formaldehyde but not the source; filters saturate silently and need regular replacement.
- DIY sprays and sachets (S$20–100): surface-level and short-lived; no way to verify effect without a proper meter.

Is treatment worth it?
For a just-renovated home — especially with infants, pregnancy or respiratory conditions in the household — a one-time S$300–1,100 treatment buys what years of ventilation can't guarantee: measured, verified air. Quotes near the bottom of the market usually cover a quick fogging of the open rooms, without meter readings before and after. Without readings there is no way to tell whether the treatment worked. When comparing, check that the price includes readings in every room, treatment inside wardrobes and drawers, and a written report.
